The Matchday
Ligue 1 matchday 6 in numbers: form, head-to-heads and margins match by match
Nine matches from 9 to 11 October, as the league resumes after the break: how much each operator holds back, Monaco alone at the top, PSG sixth and Marseille second from bottom.
Published 3 October 2026
After the break, nine matches between Friday 9 and Sunday 11 October. For each: table, form, archive head-to-heads and each operator's margin on the full-time result. No tips and no prices in the text: they live in the table further down, which fills from the feed when you open the page.
How much the book holds back, operator by operator
The margin is what the operator holds back across the sum of the three outcomes: the only number that compares two books without depending on who is playing. Not every operator prices every match, so the table also says on how many:
| Operator | Matches | Median margin | Lowest | Highest |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Netwin | 7 | 5.17% | 4.93% | 5.68% |
| Betsson | 9 | 6.69% | 6.11% | 7.22% |
| Betflag | 8 | 7.31% | 6.51% | 7.54% |
Read on 3 October 2026 at 14:45 Italian time, across the nine matches of the round, all three columns from the same pass. Prices will still move: the odds table further down is the current one.
On the seven matches all three price, Netwin is the cheapest every time. Betsson costs less than Betflag on seven of the eight matches they share; the exception is Nice-Strasbourg. The distance between dearest and cheapest, on the seven with three operators, runs from 1.43 points on Lorient-Paris FC to 2.44 on Rennes-Auxerre.
PSG-Le Mans is priced only by Betsson, at 7.22%, Betsson's highest margin of the round: with a single operator there is no distance to measure. Nice-Strasbourg is priced by two, and their distance, 0.68 points, cannot be compared with gaps between three prices.
The table is the kick-off table
From 1 to 9 October no Ligue 1 match is scheduled: the positions and points below are the ones the eighteen sides take onto the pitch, all with five matches played.
The previous round, 18-20 September, with the margins measured then: Ligue 1, the round in numbers: form, head-to-heads and margins
Monaco alone at the top, Lyon and Paris FC behind
Monaco are top on 13 points, with four wins and a draw in their last five. They host Toulouse (Sat 10, 20:45), thirteenth on 5. The archive holds 19 meetings between the two; the six most recent, all Ligue 1 since December 2023, read three Monaco wins, two draws and one for Toulouse.
Lens-Lyon (Fri 9, 20:45) opens the round. Lyon are second on 11 points, have the league's best defence, 2 goals conceded in five matches, and, level with Strasbourg, its most prolific attack, 10 goals. Lens are fifteenth on 4. Across the six meetings, all Ligue 1 between October 2021 and March 2024, Lens won three, Lyon two, and one was drawn. It is the match where Netwin holds back least in the whole round, 4.93%.
Lorient-Paris FC (Sat 10, 20:45): Paris FC are third on 11 points, Lorient twelfth on 5. Of the six most recent meetings only two are Ligue 1, the other four Ligue 2: across all competitions the record is two wins each and two draws. It is the match where the three operators sit closest, 1.43 points, and the one where Netwin holds back most, 5.68%.
PSG sixth, Marseille second from bottom
Paris Saint-Germain are sixth on 8 points, with two wins in their last two after a defeat and two draws. They host Le Mans (Sat 10, 20:45), ninth on 6. The archive holds a single meeting between them, and it is a Coupe de France tie: 0-2 at Le Mans in February 2025. In the league, in the history we hold, they have never met.
Troyes-Marseille (Sun 11, 20:45) brings together sixteenth, on 4 points, and seventeenth, on 3: Marseille have lost four of their last five. We don't quote the head-to-head: Troyes don't appear under this name in our archive, and saying the sides have never met would be false.
The other four, briefly
- Lille-Le Havre (Sat 10, 17:15) — 4th against 18th and last, 10 points against 2. Four meetings, all Ligue 1 since October 2023: three Lille wins and a draw. It is the most expensive match of the round on Betflag, 7.54%, and the cheapest on Betsson, 6.11%.
- Brest-Angers (Sat 10, 20:45) — eleventh against seventh, 5 points against 7. Head-to-head not quoted, for the same reason as Troyes-Marseille: Brest don't appear under this name in our archive.
- Nice-Strasbourg (Sun 11, 15:00) — Nice have scored 3 goals in five matches, the fewest in the league; Strasbourg's matches have produced 20, 10 scored and 10 conceded. Six Ligue 1 meetings between December 2021 and April 2024: two wins each and two draws.
- Rennes-Auxerre (Sun 11, 17:15) — fifth against tenth; Auxerre have the league's leakiest defence, 12 goals conceded. Four Ligue 1 meetings since September 2022: two Auxerre wins, including the 4-0 of November 2024, a draw, and Rennes' 5-0 in 2022.
